DeCoDe Alumnus Recognized as The Promising Graphic Designer at Gala Excellence Awards

In today’s dynamic world, creativity and innovation are driving forces behind industries that influence culture and propel economies. To honor these contributions, Feleb Concepts Multimedia established an annual awards program known as The Gala of Excellence. The award ceremony took place on February 28, 2025, at GNAT Hall, Accra. This prestigious event recognizes exceptional achievements and significant contributions across various sectors, including Fashion, Multimedia, Music, and Art etc. and serves as a symbol of excellence, encouraging growth, inspiring creativity, and fostering global appreciation of talent.

Towards the end of the previous year, Feleb Concepts Multimedia shortlisted several talented individuals excelling in their respective fields. Nomination criteria were based on excellence in craftsmanship, impact, consistency, innovation, and creativity.

Voting began immediately after nomination and continued for a set period. The deadline for voting was January 6, 2025, and all nominees were directed to visit the Feleb Concepts Multimedia website to verify the results. In the Graphic Design category, two nominees were recognized, and our very own Benjamin Yaw Acquah Boadu (’23 Year Group) was honored with the Promising Graphic Designer of the Year award.

During the awards ceremony, Mr. Lincoln, CEO of Feleb Concepts Multimedia, highlighted the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration, offering networking opportunities, and reinforcing the creative community. He stated, “This preserves the legacy of creativity, ensuring that outstanding accomplishments are recognized and remembered for generations.”

As a design department, we are proud of our Alumni making the headlines; knowing that the knowledge and training we have provided is useful in the creative industry and to the Ghanaian economy as a whole.
