As a graduate of DeCoDe, Kwamina enrolled in a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Communication Media Arts at Ohio University, USA. His MFA thesis project — “Analysing Road Security on Ghana’s Highways: An Interactive Visualization of Road Accidents from 2014–2023” — leverages interactive mapping and data storytelling to raise awareness about road safety issues confronting Ghana. The online visualization, hosted as part of his thesis, combines spatial data with engaging design elements to allow users to explore trends in traffic accidents, casualties, and injuries across the country over the last decade. His award-winning entry, created during his MFA studies, showcased excellence in visual communication and highlighted the broad reach and relevance of skills fostered at DeCoDe.

The Department of Communication Design congratulates Kwamina on his achievements and celebrates the impact of his work, which continues to elevate the profile of KNUST alumni across global creative and academic communities.
